TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Please read the following terms and conditions carefully as they contain important information. By accessing this site you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
POLEPEOPLE COURSES
Booking
Six weeks courses cost £150 and we require a deposit of £80 in advance to reserve a place. The remaining £70 is due on the first night by cash or cheque only. If you fail to pay on the first night of your course, we may ask you not to participate until the balance is paid.
Please note that classes at Holmes place are 1 and a half hours and courses cost £125. For members courses cost £120. Deposits for Holmes Place are still £70.
Availability
Places are on a first come first served basis so do check with us before booking. All bookings are only confirmed once the deposit has been received. If your payment arrives for a particular course when this course has become fully booked, we will find an alternative course for you.
Transferring course places
Once payment has been processed, you are booked onto the course you have specified. You may transfer your place up to 28 days prior to the start of a course. Within 28 days of the start date, we’re happy to transfer you, as long as we have a replacement candidate to take your place for your original course.
Refunds
If you wish to cancel, we require 28 days notice prior to the start of a course in order to receive a refund. For cancellations within 28 days, we are happy to offer a refund if we have a replacement candidate to take your place. Both terms are subject to an administration fee of £20.
Missed classes
If you are unable to attend one of the a classes on your course, let us know in advance and you may attend an open session at no extra cost, to make up the missed class. Please note that if you cannot come to a class you do need to let us know before that lesson has commenced. If you tell us after you have missed the class, you'll need to pay £10 to make up for the classs.
POLEPEOPLE HEN AND BIRTHDAY PARTY CLASSES
Booking
Party classes are £260 for a group of between 5 and 25 people. To book, a £100 deposit is required. The remainder is due 2 weeks before the date of your party. If the balance isn’t paid by this time we reserve the right to cancel your class, without refunding the deposit.
If you book a class 2 weeks or less before the date of the class, you will need to pay in full.
Availability
Bookings will only be secure once a deposit has been paid. And slots may be held for up to a maximum of 5 days before this is received.
Transferring dates
Once payment has been processed, you are booked for the specific date and venue you have asked for. You may transfer the date up to 4 weeks prior to the date of your party. Within 4 weeks, we’re happy to transfer you as long as we have a replacement group to take your place for your original date booked.
Refunds
The following applies to refunds for all private lessons and parties:
*28 days notice prior to event – refund minus £20 administration fee
*Less than 28 days notice, more than 14 days – no refund, however groups are eligible for a date transfer
*Less than 14 days – A refund or date transfer is unavailable.
OTHER
Changes
We reserve the right to make alterations to classes booked with us. This is a rare occurance, but sometimes necessary due to circumstances beyond our control. This applies to start dates, times, venue locations previously stated for six week courses, taster classes, open classes and private parties. If a change has to take place, we will offer suitable alternatives. If however none of the alternatives are convenient for you, we will offer you a full refund.
Age Limit
The mimimum age for all participants is 18. There are exceptions if a person younger than 18 years is accompanied by a parent or guardian. However, this at our discretion and we reserve the right to refuse an individual’s participation if they are under 18.
Health and Safety
Before taking part in any physical activity with a Polepeople instructor, all pupils are required to fill out a medical questionnaire and sign a disclaimer. If you have doubts about your physical well-being or know that you are pregnant, please inform Polepeople before organising any type of activity. And if you are booking on behalf of a friend or for a private party, please check with all that are participating. You must correctly follow instructions given by Polepeople teachers at all times. Any failure to do so, especially if resulting in injury, will automatically mean pupils are exempt from any type of insurance covered by Polepeople.
Purchasing a pole
We cannot accept responsibility for faulty goods or provide refunds for poles. This is the responsibility of the supplier who are not affiliated with Polepeople. Further details are available once your purchase has been made. And please also note that we cannot accept responsibility if your pole has been erected incorrectly or has caused any damage.
These terms and conditions may be changed by Polepeople.
