Nicky Smith
Nicky was the first teacher at Polepeople and has taught literally thousands women how to pole dance! With a background in performing arts, contemporary dance and pilates, Nicky's supremely elegant pole style was the inspiration behind Polepeople. She has an almost magical ability to put students at ease and bring out the best in people.
Erin Polaschek
Erin has been teaching pole dancing for over 4 years and is now teaching all levels from beginner to advanced. She is also a personal trainer, yoga instructor and sports therapist with specialist knowledge in kinetic chain assessment. She's a fantastic motivator and great at encouraging people to achieve impressive things on the pole!
Faye Maloney
Faye is a fantastic dancer, and has pole danced for over 5 years. She teaches jazz, aerobics and kickboxing as well as pole, is a Level 3 qualified Personal Trainer and Sports Masseur and is the British Lightweight Kickboxing Champion of 2006 and 2007! Her down to earth approach, fun manner and clear explanations of moves make her an extremely popular teacher. Faye is now also the teacher of our Pole Instructor Qualifications.
Jenevieve Chang
Jenevieve has been pole dancing since 2002, and her teaching style is open, generous and accessible to all. She is also a certified Pilates instructor, and her knowledge of the moving body an invaluable tool in all her classes. A multi-skilled performer, Jen also works in contemporary dance and physical theatre, and peformed in an extended run of 'Burlesque' at the London Arts Theatre in the West End.
Maria Cullis
Maria teaches many different styles of dance as well as pole dancing, including street dance, tap and also acting. With a background in Performing Arts and Musical Theatre, she is also an accomplished singer and songwriter, with an impressive list of credits. Her gregarious personality makes her an extremely fun teacher!
Heather Copson
Heather is our first student turned teacher! She trained as a professional ballerina before receiving her ARAD and has now turned her attention to pole dancing. A natural teacher, she strikes incredible rapport with the women in her classes, and is constantly developing new tricks and pole moves.
Jai Simeone
Jai started teaching with Polepeople at the beginning of 2006 and her fun, outgoing teaching style has always made a big impression on the women in her classes! A professional dancer and singer, Jai also teaches jazz at Danceworks and performs regularly with her Burlesque troop and band in London and abroad.
Georgie Manning-Harris
Growing up in a family of performers, Georgie went to stage school in Australia and moved to London to study dance and drama at the Urdang Dance Academy in Covent Garden. Combining dance and fitness, she completed her 'Exercise to Music' in 2003 and is a qualified fitness instructor as well as commercial dancer. She has been teaching pole for over 4 years and her enthusiasm and energy is a constant inspiration in all her classes.
Kim Street
Kim has been pole dancing for 4 years and teaching for 3. Also a professional comercial dancer, she is currently on 'sabatical' performing at The Moulin Rouge in Paris! We look forward to having her back with us at the beginning of next year.
